Idaho LEGO Users Group Membership Expectations
LEGO Club Member Activity Requirements
To remain an active member in IdahoLUG, members are expected to regularly participate in club activities, contribute positively to the group, and demonstrate engagement with building, learning, and volunteer opportunities. Active membership helps maintain a fun, creative, and supportive environment for all participants.
Active Member Expectations
Members should demonstrate activity through the following:
- Attend club meetings consistently (recommended attendance of at least 25% of scheduled meetings).
- Participate in building challenges, collaborative projects, or themed activities.
- Contribute ideas, creativity, and respectful teamwork during club sessions.
- Assist with event setup, cleanup, or organization when needed.
- Share builds, techniques, or project progress with fellow members.
- Follow club rules, safety expectations, and respectful behavior standards.
- Participate in at least one special event, competition, showcase, or community activity each club term or season.
- Maintain positive communication with club leaders and other members.
Examples of Demonstrated Activity
A member may be considered active if they:
- Regularly attend meetings and engage in discussions.
- Bring personal LEGO creations to share.
- Work collaboratively on group displays or projects.
- Volunteer to help with club events or exhibitions.
- Participate in online club discussions, photo sharing, or planning activities.
Inactive Membership
Members may be considered inactive if they:
- Rarely attend meetings.
- Rarely participate in activities, events or volunteer opportunities.
- Consistently fail to follow club expectations or behavior standards.
Club leadership may review inactive memberships and discuss continued participation if necessary.
Purpose
These requirements are intended to encourage creativity, teamwork, responsibility, and an enjoyable experience for all LEGO Club members.
