MOCFEST! 2026 Recap

MOCFEST! 2026 began with setup on June 19th followed by a builder dinner along with a LEGO Derby. We had many new builders this year and it was a great opportnity to talk and get to know them all.

The show opened to the public on Saturday, June 20th at 10 AM. Along with the vendors, builds, STEM activities we also included carnival games. Carnival tickets could be purchased to play a variety of games to earn tokens. Tokens could be turned in to our prize booth allowing people to choose their own prize. Carnival tickets could also be earned by participating in our scavenger hunt. Many brick built popcorn buckets were hidden among the builds. Anyone who found twelve of these hidden popcorn buckets earned tickets for the carnival games. Most of the families who attended the event participated in the scavenger hunt.

We had nearly 200 MOCs on display this year, with builders from around the northwest. Our members participated in a collaborative build by bringing in carnival rides, midway games and food vendor builds. This came together to form a nice display of a fun carnival or fair. Our Volunteers

The show would never have come together without the many volunteers from the IdahoLUG. Volunteers helped run the carnival games, prize booth, front desk, duplo and LEGO free play areas, our builder games and many other important tasks. We want to express our deepest appreciation for all the hard work that went into planning, managing and running the show!
